Allen-Bradley 1756-EN2TR Module
Allen-Bradley 1756-EN2-TR Module is a dual-port Ethernet/IP (Ethernet Industrial Protocol) interface communication module. It supports Ring and Star topologies and implements messages to other Allen-Bradley controllers. It also supports the RS485 bus.
Ethernet/IP (Ethernet Industrial Protocol) dual port interface communication module
The 1756-EN2TR Ethernet/IP dual port interface communication module is part of the ControlLogix communication module family. It offers general messaging and real-time I/O communication, with support for one or two hundred and twenty-four TCP/IP connections simultaneously. The unit meets CIP safety standards and features advanced communication chips for maximum data throughput.
To use this module, you must first insert the card into the chassis slot and allow the device to boot. If it does not automatically start, you must remove it and restart the computer. Once the system has completed the boot process, the card will display a message indicating that it has been reset to factory defaults. After this, you must connect the EtherNet cable to the module.
Supports Ring and Star topology
The Allen-Bradley 1756-EN2-TR Module is a dual-port Ethernet Industrial Protocol communication module. It supports general messaging and real-time I/O messaging. It is designed for redundant Ethernet networks. Its embedded dual RJ545 ports support Ethernet protocol and 10/100 Mbps transmission speed. It can be installed in any ControlLogix chassis.
The Allen-Bradley 1756-EN2-TR module supports Ring and Star topology. It also supports embedded Ethernet communication, which eliminates the need for expensive communication adapters. The module is supported by Category 5 or 6 fabricated cables. It supports up to eight axis of motion.
Supports implementing messages to other Allen-Bradley controllers
When you’re working with Allen-Bradley PLCs, it’s important to understand the tag database. This is the data that controls various functions and actions in PLCs. PLCs can also be configured to send messages to each other. This can be done via a standardized Common Interface File or Table. The messages sent from one controller to another can include instructions or commands from the controller to the other.
Messages can be sent and received from Allen-Bradley PLCs and PC-based controllers. Allen-Bradley controllers communicate with each other via an RS-232 or Ethernet connection. They can also be used with EtherNet/IP I/O. Additionally, they can communicate with each other through the Allen-Bradley RSView operator interface.
Supports RS485 bus
The Allen-Bradley 1756-EN2, a dual-port interface communication module, supports Ethernet Industrial Protocol (EIP) communication and real-time I/O messaging. It also supports motion and real-time time sync, and meets CIP safety standards.
This controller is designed for Ethernet/IP communication and comes with a free one-year warranty from DO Supply, Inc. It also comes with a variety of repair services. It supports up to eight axes of motion.
