The John Adams Dollar Coin is part of the Presidential Dollar Coin Series minted by the United States Mint. This coin features a portrait of the second president of the United States, John Adams, on the obverse side, along with the inscription “John Adams” and the years of his presidency, “1797 to 1801“. The reverse side of the coin displays the Statue of Liberty and the inscriptions “United States of America” and “In God We Trust”. The John Adams Dollar Coin is made of manganese brass and has a mint mark on the edge of the coin. The coin was designed by Joel Iskowitz and sculpted by Don Everhart.
